To help with any concerns or questions you may have, we have created a detailed list of some of our most frequently asked questions about our EAV hire and commercial rental services offered.

What is CDW?
Do I need to perform maintenance on the vehicle?
Although all our EAV vehicles are checked before being delivered, you’re responsible for making the standard checks such as tire pressure, tyre tread etc. during the time of your rental.
Who is responsible for general road conduct and following the rules of the road?
You are responsible for knowing and obeying the highway code, the local laws regarding drink and drug driving and any other rules of the road such as the legal places to park, even when driving in a foreign country.
Am I still liable for the vehicle after finishing my reservation and waiting to be collected?
Yes, you remain liable for the vehicle while it waits to be collected.
Do I need to show any particular documentation to the delivery driver?
Yes- you will need to present the credit or debit card used to make the booking. You will also need to present or show photograph ID. If you don’t have a photo ID, you will be asked for your passport or drivers licence. Also, a bank statement or utility bill will also be asked for to help us verify your identity. If you fail to provide this, we reservation the right to cancel your reservation.
What is the Rental Agreement?
This is simply the formal contract between you (the hirer of the vehicle) and us (the providers of the vehicle) which details all the terms of the arrangement and the condition of the vehicle.
What do I do if I lose the keys?
Please contact EAV.co.uk immediately. Keys are not covered by our insurance and you may be charged for replacing the keys, as well as any additional rental time you use while waiting for replacements.
Can I book and pay for a vehicle for someone else to use?
YES, you can. We do need both details of cardholder and driver and proof of address.
How will I know when my booking is confirmed?
You will receive an email from us detailing your booking with details and once a member of staff has approved your reservation.
Can I use my company's existing insurance with your rental vehicles?
Absolutely. In fact, if you’re already covered by a company insurance policy, we offer a 10% discount on the rental!
Do I need to pay for vehicle delivery or collection?
Yes - we charge you for having your rental EAV vehicle delivered to the location of your choice. You can collect FREE OF CHARGE.
What kinds of driving license can you accept?
NONE - We know right?! You do not need a Drivers Licence to operate a EAV
Do I need to clean the hired EAV before returning it?
This is not strictly necessary, However in the case of significant soiling that would cost us to clean, we politely ask you to clean this yourself as you may receive a charge for our cleaning costs. We charge for our time, plus any associated costs.
